Don't miss the full list!

Johnny Dangerously, You, Me And The Alarm Clock: This is a hidden gem from Manchester's most overlooked genius. It has these haunting lyrics that pop out of the song and live in your mind.

Fabrizio De André, Volume 3: This is an album that evokes so many memories for me. It is music that almost has a temperature, balmy and intense. Amazing combination of orchestration and his deep vocal.

Charlotte Cornfield, The Shape of Your Name: Not only does she write these intricately-crafted tunes that sparkle with gently profound lyrics and notes, she is also a great drummer.

Lucy Dacus, Home Video: It's a very close call, and I rarely argue about this anymore, but she is my favourite in Boygenius.

Jacques Brel, Infiniment: I suppose this not really an album (more of a complication) but it contains the many classics. Incidentally, I think the album cover for Ces gens la is the best I've seen.
